Budu-less

This is my 100th entry for Budu Tales in Melbourne. After all the 99 tales that I have been narrating, it suddenly feels bland and empty. What am I doing here? Maybe I need another tale. Like Tempoyak Tales. Or Belacan Tales. Whatever it is, Budu Tales shall rest in peace now.

Assalamualaikum Helmi,
Bump into your blog here from another blog. What a surprise to find out that I know you. We were in IIUM. I was in same batch with Irmohizam. Probably we never talked except the occasional smile or hi. But IIUM brothers always remember each other’s faces. Good to see you are doing well and great with a prospect of being called a DR. soon.
Will keep reading your budu story bro !
Uncle Hilmi,
If there’s budu, there must be petai too! Imagine a meal of hot rice with petai bakar, lada, tempoyak and budu. Oh, and don’t forget pucuk jambu golok. Mama…I’m hungry. meow!
Salam Helmi,
Wah..congratulation.. able to further study in Australia. Anyway, if you still remember I’m one of your friends when you’re staying at Setapak. I’m a student at UNITEN during that time. Please feel free to mail me at fairus_jali@petronas.com.my.
Good Luck in your study.
